Yesterday was another lazy-ish day. In the morning I was able to get some chores done. I’ve been having a little bit of a bug problem in the room recently, so I made sure to clean every nook and cranny. I was worried to find a bunch of rat droppings, but I guess I knew I had some rodent friends when the dogs left a dead rat outside my door about a month ago.
A few of the morning hours were spent at the new school site with John and Lucas. John was going there for the day to work and Lucas wanted to see how things were progressing. I helped John shovel some gravel into buckets to be mixed with cement and poured as foundation.
Lucas also took me to visit a new apartment site he is working on right now. It’s very impressive how many projects he has going on.
Last evening we all watched another movie together—Scream 7. The family is really into horror movies, which I’m fine with, but I’d love a little variety. If we keep at this pace, I’m not going to be able to sleep this coming week. Thankfully last night my sleep was fine, and I feel ready for today. It should be a fun day; I’m going with my buddy Ezekia to his house and I’m very excited to be exploring again.
