Yesterday marked 12 weeks away from home! It was a calm day. Up until 11 no one was really moving and I used that time to put the finishing touches on my website! (I think it should now be up and running and any feedback is much welcome). At 11 I went with the kids to get their haircut.

It took nearly three hours for the haircuts. Five of them were getting a haircut between these two barbers. Each cut took nearly half an hour, but what made it worse was that our driver dropped us off and left us while he ran some errands. It was pretty boring, but I had a good view for some people watching. Around 2 we got picked up to head home. The rest of the day was lazy. I did some chores and took a nap.

For dinner we had pizza (among other things). Personally, I liked the other options more—we had fries, banana and beef stew, and spaghetti and beef sauce—so I gave my pizza away. But I’m happy to know that if I ever need a little taste of home I can run down to a Pizza Hut.

After dinner a few of us watched a movie!!! It’s been nearly 3 months since I’ve last watched a movie and it’s one thing I had been missing most. Sharon, one of the daughters home for Easter holiday, decided on the horror movie sinister. Despite the movie, I was able to fall asleep fine—albeit late—and feel great this morning.
