Yesterday was a fun Saturday. My morning started with going to the office because my data plan ran out and the WiFi at the hotel was also out. I hung around there for a little bit. A coworker showed up and kept me some company for a while.
The plan for my day was to go to the zoo, but the person with whom I was supposed to go backed out last minute. I think I have slowly become accustomed to this way of life (you know, the poor planning and terrible time management) because it didn’t bother me one bit yesterday—whereas in the past I would have been very upset about it and held it against the person. I’m not sure if this is good though, because I now treat everything as a sort of lost cause, expecting plans to fall through.

I had to readjust my day a little, but it was a perfect day to be made free, and the Saturday market seemed to be calling my name. I dropped my things back at the hotel and took a quick and delicious lunch, feeling lucky I got it when I did because by the time I left the restaurant had totally filled up. It was straight to the market after that.

I did a lot better purchasing this time around. Previously I felt kind of bad being stingy, looking over every piece of clothing to find one I liked, trying it on, and only buying it (for $3) if it fit just how I wanted. Different story yesterday. I took my time and was meticulous. I also talked my pant dealer into trading the three pairs of pants I regretted purchasing last time (for I had brought them back with me) for three new pairs of pants that better suited me. I spent maybe 3 hours between 4 shops and walked away with a handful of polos and my new pants. Afterwards I just wandered around for a bit.
By the time I got home, washed the clothes, and got ready for bed it was nearly 10pm. I slept in till 7 this morning, which felt nice, but now I feel a bit behind on the day. Thankfully I don’t have any plans—hopefully I find something fun to do!
