Yesterday morning I slept in and missed the morning bus route. I guess I must have slept through my alarm and apparently I also slept through some knocking on my door.
It was good that I got the extra sleep though because yesterday I was starting to feel a little sickness coming on (and unfortunately it has stuck around until today). It was a relatively mellow day in terms of work and school activities which was nice.

There was a documentary/film crew working in the area where I was, collecting footage to make a nice video about the graduating class. It was kinda fun at first until the students were told to grab instruments and start playing as loud as they could.

The afternoon bus route went smoothly. The dry season really makes for easy roads compared to the rainy season. We have yet to get stuck, but the that doesn’t mean it’s been without problems.
For dinner we had Ugali and scrambled eggs which was a new combination for me. I happened to enjoy it very much!
Today I woke up after a much disturbed sleep. The sickness has fully settled in and I hope it doesn’t progress much further. It’s nothing more than a stuffy nose, but feeling like a ballon is being blown up in my nasal cavity doesn’t make me a very happy camper. Hopefully things straighten out quickly because this morning I woke up at the crack of dawn to make sure I won’t miss the bus route again.
