In about 24 hours I will be landing in Addis Ababa and starting my first day with Water For Good. This next day is going to be very tiring, I’m really hoping I’ll be able to sleep on my flights.

Yesterday was bittersweet. I’m very excited to be on the move again and starting something new, but I’m going to miss the friends and family I’ve made here. I went to school for the day and stayed by myself for most of the time. Although there was remedial, I wanted a bit of time to reflect. Unfortunately, I had some last minute flight stress I needed to figure out and spent about 3 hours of my morning doing that. In the end I had to give up so I could enjoy my final day and I’m planning on figuring it out today hopefully!

I said my final goodbye to the music room.

I sort of pulled an Irish goodbye on most of the teachers. However, I was able to say goodbye to a few and give them a message for everyone else.

After the day was over my buddy Praygood and I took a little adventure. We had finished the route and decided to go look at the new football stadium they are building. It’s nice to it during the day.

We did some sight seeing along our slow drive back home. It’s not that we decided to, it was more so the rough road forcing us to move slowly.

I said another goodbye to my good friend Hussein. The rest of my night was then spent packing and getting ready to leave this morning. It’s crazy to think that for the past 3 months I have been living out of my one suitcase and will continue to do so for the next 5-6 months.
I slept surprisingly well last night, despite being very nervous for my flights today and what tomorrow holds. I’ll be very relieved when I land in Addis Ababa.
