Wow. The days are getting up there!
Yesterday was another day out in the field. More than anything it was a ride along for me. The engineering team had to go out to do some work and I just wanted one last chance to go out to the field before I leave (even if I wasn’t going to be of any help). It was a lot of driving yesterday and I would estimate about 90% of the time spent away from the office was just travel time sitting in the car. I can’t complain though, I always enjoy those quiet moments to reflect and slow things down for a bit.
I got back to the office around 4:00pm and had a mountain of work that I managed to complete only a tiny portion of.
After work I went for my run. It was a very informative run—I learned that it’s not advisable to eat a large meal 30 minutes before taking a jog.
Today I’m hoping to get a lot done. I need to go to the office to chip away at the work I’ve been pushing back with every days I’ve gone to the field this past week. I also hope to go by the market a final time, do some laundry, go for my run and somewhere in there I have a goodbye lunch with coworkers. So today should be busy and good!
