I attended church again yesterday morning with my coworker. I didn’t enjoy it as much as last Sunday. I think because it wasn’t as mew and unique, it wasn’t as exciting. If I had it my way I don’t know if I would go back. But, according to the culture, I think it’s a bad look if I don’t go to church—no matter the denomination.

After church (which we left early, before the service had ended) we ran about on some errands. She invited me for lunch again, so we went to a couple stores and markets so she could gather the supplies for the meal. She dropped me off back at my hotel so I could rest while she was to be cooking.
Instead of resting I decided to go for a little adventure. I felt pretty lethargic, so I knew a good run would get me fixed up. I ran along my normal route, but chose to just keep trucking along once I reached my normal turn around point. The entire journey was mostly plains with a couple house or small factories, but I was delighted at stumbling upon a zoo. I didn’t have any money so I could go in, but now I know it’s there it will be fun to go back to.

I got pretty toasty during the run. 90 degrees and no cloud or tree cover isn’t the best combination for an hour and a half run. I was smart enough to wear a long sleeve and a hat, but my hands and legs still got more red than I would have liked.

After my run was the delicious lunch. I was so excited for the food that I forgot to take a picture of the wonderful meal. Afterwards though, I saw the homeless kitties who live in a cardboard box, and they have seemingly recruited to their gang.

The day took a surprising turn when I got a call from my Danish buddy inviting me to a hotel pool. My coworker and I went and it was fun for a little bit. However, my tiredness set in once it got dark and I got out of the pool. At that point I just wanted to be home in my warm bed. But, we had a little dinner, listened to some live music and watched football.

We started home around 8:30pm. The roads near the hotel had no streetlights and the motorbike we were taking suffered from a broken headlight, so the ride home was a bit iffy.
Overall the day was fun and good, but I was very tired by the time I finally got to sleep. I’m still feeling it this morning, so hopefully I can power through the day or get some type of energy boost at some point. This week is kind of going to be a two day week because on Wednesday it’s a holiday and then the rest of the week (including Saturday and Sunday) we will be busy with senior lead ship visits to oversee the final steps of the brand launch event.
