Yesterday was my last full day in Arusha. It was nothing special and I’m really glad for that. I don’t enjoy big or drawn out goodbyes, and today I’m spending some time with the few friends who I grew close with and my family.

One thing I’m really bummed about is that I’ll be missing graduation at Hope. It’s just over a month out and I would have managed to attend it with my original schedule, but now I’m not so lucky. Almost every day there are rehearsal preparations and I’ve been getting some sneak peaks at least. But from what I’ve heard, it’s a full day of ceremony, celebration and food. I’m imagining like a wedding, but during the day and everyone isn’t just waiting for the food.
I began my packing, that I’ve been putting off for the past few days, and resorted to just stuffing everything. My checked limit is two 23kg bags, and as of right now I have one that is 25kg and another that is 20kg, but they are both stuffed to the brim and I’m not sure how much I can shift. Im sure if I were methodical to start it would have been easy to figure out a good split, but now I’m just hoping that the people at the check in are generous!
Today I’m finishing my packing up, going to town, and then seeing where the wind blows me. All I know is that I need to be boarding a bus at 9pm and from there I’ll begin my journey home!
